Do you have any recommendations as to where I should start if I wanted to get into pro wrestling? I don't know a ton about the genre, the extent of my knowledge is SuperEyePatchWolf's videos on the topic

To be honest, I’d just start watching Monday Night Raw / Friday Night Smackdown. That’s how I got started. Also, if you get lost on a storyline, which will happen since WWE storylines are ongoing and constantly changing, it’s really easy to catch up on what’s happening since there are dedicated bloggers doing recaps of Raw and SmackDown every time a new episode premieres.

I also recommend checking out the YouTube channel WWE Vault. That channel posts classic matches which you can watch without context.

What I’d stay away from, for now, are the more niche promotions. Start with the WWE since that’s the most mainstream, made for general audiences pro-wrestling out there. Once you get familiar with Raw and SmackDown, then you can branch off and explore different promotions. The reason why I’m emphasizing this point is that I don’t want anyone to accidentally end up in the more…hardcore wrestling promotions. That’s actually a bad way to get a feel for wrestling since the hardcore stuff can sometimes come across as a Saw movie.
